Situated at the south eastern tip of Lefkada, Poros lies a short drive away from such attractive villages as Sivota, noted for its busy little harbour and waterfront tavernas selling the freshest of fish, caught locally. There are breathtaking views over Poros Bay, virtually enclosed by the descending hillsides, and the scattered islands of the archipelago.  Mikro Yialos is a beautiful bay with a fine beach, old village of Poros lies on the mountain above, while Vassiliki, with its magnificent windsurfing and kite-surfing, is nearby, to the west.
