Aghios Nikitas
At Aghios Nikitas on the north western shoulder of Lefkada, the small traditional Greek village provides plenty for its visitors, with a good selection of tarvernas, bars and small shops. A wonderful choice of beaches are at your disposal along the stunning west coast. Situated right at sea-level, with its own excellent beach, a mixture of sand and fine shingle, the small village of Aghios Nikitas has few inhabitants, but see that visitors are given a warm, friendly welcome. In a magical setting of steep hillsides covered with olives and pine trees, the village has access to several other wonderful, and often quite unfrequented, beaches, one of the finest of which is Kathisma, where white sand contrasts with blatantly turquoise sea.
