Kaminaki & Agni
Almost invisible from the main road high above, Kaminaki has remained relatively undiscovered, and still has a refreshingly natural village atmosphere. It has been a favourite with CV clients for many years. The beach is exceptionally clean and is ideal for families with young children, while teenagers love the fact that their friends return every year and they have company of their own age. It is also a lovely hideaway retreat for couples, especially in spring, early summer and autumn, with wonderful walks in the vicinity.
The enchanting little bay of Agni, with its exceptionally good beachside restaurants, is the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday, with good bathing, interesting boating, long lazy meals by the sea, and few other distractions. There are comparatively few villas and no hotels in this area, and the road down to Agni is easy to miss - all of which contributes to it remaining agreeably quiet. It can only be said to be busy in High Season when it is a popular lunch rendezvous and attracts many smart yachts. There is a small and pretty beach at Agni, and several more nearby. Wonderful rock bathing can also be found very close by, just a short walk or boat ride away. The nearest shops are just along the coast at Kalami which can be reached by car or boat.
