| El Coto is an enchanting farmhouse built in traditional Mallorquin style and set in breathtaking rural surroundings in the south east of Mallorca with spectacular views towards the mountains and the sea. It is a wonderful mix of a traditional finca with every possible up to date modern facility available. On the ground floor the traditional oak beamed sitting room and dining hall (which comfortably seats ten) opens onto a covered veranda where there is a further dining area. The adjoining pool terrace is ideal for sunbathing, barbecues or for moonlit dinners. Cool terracotta tiled floors throughout provide a refreshing break from the heat of the summer sun. Outside wonderful gardens include extensive lawns, an additional shaded dinning terrace and “chill out” area. The sparkling heated pool looks towards olive groves and the Mediterranean while the quiet surroundings are the ideal panacea for today’s hectic lifestyle. Nearby Santanyi is an historic market town and is a centre for many fiestas and cultural events throughout the year. You will also find a bustling market in the Plaza Major, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is a wealth of white sandy beaches in the immediate vicinity, Cala S’Amarador, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Ferrera, Cala Llonga and Cala Figuera are all highly recommended. |
