Its gardens, stepped into the hillside, surround a house with warm terracotta walls and encompass a well placed swimming pool and ample outdoor space to simply sit and think (…or sometimes simply sit…). There are stunning views from various vantage points and there is little to disturb your reverie. Reached by a recently tarmacked track, the villa is secluded but not reclusive – as one or two other houses share the area and the shops, restaurants and traditional bars of Monchique are within easy reach. With three bedrooms in the main house and two in the separate guest annexe behind the house, the villa is adaptable for sizeable family holidays or mixed groups of friends. (The Main House and Annexe must be let together in Peak Season.) A lovely setting to enjoy the calm and breathe the country air. |
