| Dating back to the late 1600's, La Fornace is now an elegant family home.
The ground floor is a series of luminous open plan rooms with beautiful large kitchen with living area, elegant dining room, sitting room, sun room and study. Upstairs there is a spacious library area and four well furnished bedrooms including a triple aspect master bedroom. However beautiful the interior is, it is the combination of views, terraces and gardens that prove irresistible. The living space flows effortlessly outside to the terraces, party shaded by awnings, with many spots in sun or shade and a rose covered dining pergola.
The sheer elegance of the pool with waterfall feature set into its own terrace just below the house is complemented by superb views. Scented flowers and plants adorn the immaculate terraces and gentle stroll leads down to the magnificent landscaped gardens of grassy iris lined walks, fountains, lakes and fruit trees that the owners have created just slightly below the main terraces of the property.
This is one of our favourite properties in this gentle, unspoilt corner of Tuscany. Highly recommended. |
