| Fattoria Mansi Bernardini was the working farm of Villa Mansi, a historic villa, now open to the public. Today the Fattoria is renowned for producing top quality extra virgin olive oil and wine. A number of the farmhouses on the estate have been sensitively restored by local craftsmen to offer very comfortable holiday accommodation in a wonderful setting. Casa Claudia is set in a secluded location on the estate with lovely country views over the olive groves to the valley below.
The sitting room and bedrooms are all decorated with colour washed walls in warm tones and fabrics in pretty country colours. The rooms are furnished with country pieces, wrought iron bedsteads, elegant light fittings, as well as beautiful prints and drawings. Particular mention must be made of the kitchen with its stylish Italian fittings and appliances and seperate dining area. The gardens are the perfect setting for long lunches and candelit suppers. The maid will cook delicious local specialities on request. The extensive lawned gardens, ideal for young children are dotted with olive trees and other mature shrubs.
The beautiful pool with ample sun furniture is set into the gardens.
Guests are looked after by the English speaking staff at the Estate Office who ensure that your stay is memorable and happy. They are delighted to give advice on trattorie, restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, festivals and local golf courses.
Casa Claudia is a most comfortable and elegant holiday base for relaxation and touring at any time of year.
