| It is extremely difficult to find smaller houses in Italy with a private pool and the degree of privacy that is so essential in order to ensure the perfect relaxing holiday. We were therefore delighted to include Casa Rosa as part of our exclusive portfolio of houses around Orvieto.
The house incorporates the best of Umbrian craftmanship - beautiful terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams, and large french doors leading from the sitting room and bedrooms on to the the extensive terraces. Walking bare foot from the comfortable master bedroom onto the covered terrace, and enjoying a leisurely breakfast al fresco whilst admiring the spectacular views, is an unforgettable experience.
The pool area is an exceptional place to relax in and spend the day, with guests enjoying the added bonus that in the heart of Mediterranean Italy can be found an expanse of green lawn that would complement the finest English country house.
Only a short drive from good fast roads, the beautiful hill town of Orvieto is only a short drive away. Easy day trips include visits to its cathedral, historical centre, shops and restaurants. An easy walk from the house (about 2 km) theere is also a very informal pizzeria for take away pizzas.
