| Located at the edge of a tiny hamlet, this superb property is one of our most comfortable houses for rental in this area of Tuscany. Sole di Sesta's discerning owner has renovated it to a very high standard, with elegant and attractive furnishing and her guests' comfort a priority. The gues book is full of appreciative comments for the excellent local cook who provides traditional Tuscan specialities and complimentary meal awaits guests on their arrival.
Enhancements for 2009 include a new conservatory with sliding panoramic windows - a wonderful place for al fresco dining overlooking the immaculate gardens. The lawns, colourful shrubs and terracotta pots overflowing with crimson geraniums slope gently down to the pool area with electric cover, recommended not only for child safety but to conserve heat and ensure the early morning swim is a pleasure. Here, changing facilities, comfortable pool forniture, towels and shower ensure guests' comfort.
All bedrooms have excellent ensuite facilities and the two annexes are ideal for those wanting "separate but together" accommodation. La Porcinaia is a treat for anyone lucky enough to be a guest, with huge picture windows providing a panorama at all times. La Capanna provides another spoiling private retreat. Highly recommended.
Note: A further single bed with shower room is available adjacent to utility room should the bed configuration not suit. Not more than 12 guests total. |
