| The Geni Peninsula is an area where people can enjoy great privacy and the peace to appreciate to the full the sublime views over Skorpios, the almost mythical island of Onassis, and the islands of this fabulous corner of the Ionian. The villa is built on several levels, in order to make the most of the dramatic hillside setting along a quiet country road. Almost all the rooms open on to terraces from which the views can be enjoyed to the full. Soft furnishings of the highest quality, Philippe Starck shower rooms, a combination of subtle lighting and soothing colour schemes make the interior a haven of comfort. The top floor kitchen has been designed to produce the simplest or the most elaborate meals, to be served al fresco if wished on the broad terrace. There is of course a superb swimming pool, with mosaic tiles in shades of blue and green that shimmer invitingly by day or by night. A ten minute walk downhill via a track from the villa leads guests to the beach. No-one can visit this gorgeous area and not wish to explore it by boat – and within ten minutes walk of Kalithea there is a private boat mooring. Air-conditioned throughout, with landscaped gardens that include a herb garden and an abundance of trees, Kalithea is secluded, with the space to accommodate a family group or a party of friends in a style rarely encountered in holiday rentals. A self-contained lower floor studio with its own kitchenette gives some useful flexibility to the accommodation arrangements. A Meal Service is available on request at an additional cost. |
