Cyclamen is one of the largest houses on the Rou Estate, and one that proudly displays its origins in its wonderful stonework and deep-set windows. It is situated at the top of the village and opens off the walkway that serves as the village square.

| The views from its sitting room are quite superb, and, thanks to an internal ‘window’, can even be glimpsed while working in the kitchen. The sleeping arrangements are exceptionally versatile and have made good use of the various outbuildings, once a part of the original property. There is master bedroom, in a separate wing lending a rather special charm, while another small building, quite separate and once a goat-shed, houses a twin bedroom very suitable for teenagers. At a lower level two twin bedrooms open on to a pretty walled courtyard where the plunge pool is to be found, while at the topmost level, there is a walled garden to the rear of the house, with an impressive roofed dining area outside the kitchen and a characteristic terraced rock garden. |
