| Petroti is set on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Corfu, its cypress trees an elegant frame for superb views over the sea towards Albania. Below the villa the sea displays all the colours of a peacock’s tail. No wonder, then, that the property makes such a stunning setting in which to entertain family and friends, especially for a special occasion. Apart from the gorgeous pool, excellent rock bathing is possible below the villa and there is a floodlit tennis court. A secluded bay can be reached by a path from the garden. The large sitting room is comfortably furnished for lounging about and reading or chatting, but the villa is surrounded by broad paved terraces where al fresco meals become very special occasions indeed and where sitting and gazing at the view is a very acceptable and undemanding way of passing the time. Still very private, always much in demand, Villa Petroti requires early reservations. A Cook Service is available on request, at an additional cost. |
