We appreciate that our guests may wish to avail themselves of the services of a cook whilst on holiday, allowing themselves the luxury of not having to prepare a meal, but at the same time not having to drive back from a restaurant in the dark and being able to enjoy a few drinks! Local Cooks*
Corfu - A few local English speaking cooks resident in Corfu can be booked subject to availability. Whilst they are enthusiastic and competent, they (usually) do not have the formal training and experience that some of our guests may expect. They are most appreciated when booked for large family groups who view the time consuming chores of shopping, food preparation, and general clearing up, laying tables etc more important than haute cuisine! However, all local cooks have a good repertoire of menus, and are more than pleased to assist clients ensuring they have a relaxing holiday.
Our Services to Clients
Guests who have requested cook service are sent a shopping list in advance of their holiday, and requested food items will be delivered to the property for clients’ arrival. Of course, there is always the option to eat out on the day of arrival and shop locally. Shops tend to open later during the season.
Few villas are equipped for sophisticated entertaining, especially in Greek owned villas. In Corfu we can supply extra equipment if clients are planning to do a lot of entertaining. Please do discuss your requirements with your consultant on booking.
Cost per week: to include shopping, breakfast and 1 meal a day, 6 days per week (cook has own car and accommodation). All food and drink expenses are payable locally.

A non refundable deposit is required on booking. Cook services cannot be cancelled once booked due to our advance contractural arrangements.
*CV Travel offers this facility purely as a service to our guests. We cannot accept responsibility if a cook becomes unavailable. If a booking is conditional upon a cook being provided, clients should make their own arrangements.
