Poised above the sea on a cliff top – green with fragrant garrigue, this dazzling white villa enjoys an enviably secluded location with glorious views of the southern coast of Ibiza, out across the cerulean sea to the Illa de Santa.

La Ventana is a true retreat, the peace of its setting broken only by the putter of a boat’s engine, or the waves breaking languidly at the foot of the cliff. Facing southeast, the villa is bathed in sunshine all day with its inviting terraces, whilst cooling off is a matter of taking a dip in the pretty swimming pool. Inside the villa, quiet colours and comfortable furniture complement the romantic mood and large windows allow the light and air to flood in. The living room in the main house opens on to a charming patio and the simply furnished separate annex has its own entrance and outdoor seating area. This arrangement is ideal for couples or small families, albeit La Ventana is a special villa for a romantic escape for two. The little village of Siesta, with its sandy beach, is within walking distance.

A local cook can be provided at this property, giving everyone the opportunity to really relax whilst away. This increasingly popular option can provide the service for given meals, or for multiple meals during the course of your holiday. and can work out extremely cost effective over restaurant prices. Cooks are on request and do need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. They are usually payable locally at an hourly rate.

Destination introduction

Just a few kilometres outside Santa Eulalia, Siesta is a small seasonal resort but nevertheless has a fine selection of restaurants and shops, a sandy beach and a spa. Separated from its bigger sister by a river –Siesta is built up a mountainside and enjoys wonderful views of the bay. An easy walk along the beach brings Santa Eulalia within reach, and more demanding walkers will find some strenuous but rewarding coastal walks in the other direction.
