It is here that the north east coastal road reaches its highest point, and looks down upon a series of exquisite bays and coves that once could only be reached by sea.
Each one has its own character – Yialiskari is tiny, a sailor’s dream of a quiet mooring, Kalami is a family resort, with a big Blue Flag beach, a choice of tavernas and shops, an excellent water sports centre and some great fishing off the rocks. Kouloura has one of Corfu’s ‘trademark’ views – a tiny harbour overlooked by a grand Venetian house.
