The scenery of the west coast of Corfu is in complete contrast to that of the east. A long line of steep hills ripples down to the coast, breaking into cliffs and headlands that separate one long sandy beach from the next. The scenery is spectacular, heavily wooded in places, home to small vineyards and colourful villages.
