Folitsa

This quirky little cottage for two has a character of its own that may not appeal to everyone, but if traditional materials and rustic charm intrigue and delight you, then Folitsa ticks the boxes.  The Corfiot owner, a builder by trade, firmly believes in recycling, and has fashioned the cottage out of materials he has acquired over many years. Mellow stone and weathered wood form the background to a style reminiscent of a Greek mountain cabin. – but with more up-to-date facilities than are normally found in the backwoods. Outside there is a stunning swimming pool, sheltered by a beautifully ‘distressed’ stone wall, that in no way obscures the heavenly views across the sea. The name means ‘little nest’, and is an apt description of what was once an abandoned ruin in an old hillside olive grove within easy reach of both St Stephano and Kerasia. The compact interior is open-plan and air conditioned throughout, perfectly complemented by  a delightful outdoor dining terrace overlooking the sunny L-shaped pool and views that take the breath away. Folitsa really is a most unusual little house – a real retreat.

Extra Services

Boat Hire: There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.

Kerasia Introduction
