Caribbean

Destination Information

The most evocative of our holiday destinations - exotic tropical islands offering all the ingredients needed for glorious sun-filled holidays, and more: golden palm-fringed beaches, sparkling seas, a wealth of sports activities on the water and on land, distinctive cultures and delicious cuisines.

Each of the Caribbean islands that we feature is, however, very different: some are mountainous, lush and tropical, whereas others are flat and formed of coral with miles of pristinely white beaches; some are sleepy little islands where time seems to have stood still, whilst others are sophisticated holiday resorts catering for your every holiday need.

Graced with the natural attributes of good weather, fabulous beaches and azure seas, the islands also offer some of the world's finest villas and hotels that you will find anywhere.

From Barbados to Jamaica, Antigua to Tobago, our villas in the Caribbean range from charming beachside cottages to the most opulent of mansions that include every possible amenity for elegant Villa Living. In addition we feature some of the world’s finest hotels as well as a number of lesser-known hideaway gems.

We introduced our programme of villas in the Caribbean in 2007. Each year, following feedback from our clients, we have expanded our collection to include exciting new properties, In Barbados, Java Bay and Monkey Puzzle are stunning contemporary villas with impressive interiors and swimming pools.

On St Lucia, Tamarind House is another great find in the ever popular south of the island, a romantic villa with sensational Piton views and a spectacular private pool and tennis court.

On Antigua we feature the landmark property of Carlisle Bay, the epitome of chic sophistication and gourmet food. Rolling Surf on Grenada, is one of the best new villas in the Caribbean we have come across and is just steps away from a lovely sandy beach.

For families, there are new villas on Mustique like Sapphire with its 300ft of beach frontage and Noble House on Jamaica where the beach and swimming pool would put many hotels to shame. St Kitts is a brand new destination.

A week too short but a fortnight too long?‑ When travelling to the Caribbean 7 nights is probably the minimum duration after a flight of 8 hours or more, but for various reasons, not everyone can take a full two weeks, while others like to stay longer.  We're happy to book the optimum holiday duration for you and will advise on departure dates that fit in both with your plans and the flights for your chosen destination.

We select our villas in the Caribbean with the utmost care, looking for that special feature that it apart from the others. Our clients look for stunning locations, for comfort and privacy, but whereas for some people this comes in the shape of a dazzlingly luxurious villa, for others it might mean a chic resort, a plantation inn or your own private island.

So whether you are energetic sports lovers or lethargic lotus-eaters, a family with young children or teenagers, a group of friends, or a couple, CV Travel has the right property for you.
